ZEBAR TECHNOLOGIES TERMS & CONDITIONS

1. Introduction
These Terms of Use ("Terms") govern your use of Zebar Technologies' ("Zebar", "we", "us") digital platform including mobile applications, websites, and related services ("Platform"). By accessing the Platform, you agree to be bound by these Terms and all applicable Pakistani laws including:
The Pakistan Electronic Transactions Ordinance, 2002
The Consumer Protection Act, 2020
Provincial Motor Vehicle Ordinances
Relevant data protection regulations
2. Platform Services
2.1 Zebar operates as a technology service provider connecting:
Licensed third-party drivers ("Drivers")
Passengers seeking transportation services ("Passengers")
2.2 Zebar is not a transportation carrier and does not:
Employ Drivers
Set fares (except maximum regulated fares where applicable)
Guarantee service availability
3. User Requirements
3.1 All users must:
Be at least 18 years old
Provide valid identification (CNIC for Pakistani users)
Maintain accurate profile information
3.2 Drivers must additionally:
Hold valid:
Driver's license (minimum 2 years old)
Vehicle registration
Route permit (where required)
Valid motor insurance
Pass criminal background checks
Maintain vehicles meeting provincial fitness standards
4. Financial Terms
4.1 Payment Processing:
All transactions processed through Zebar's PCI-DSS compliant system
Service fee: 15-20% of fare (clearly displayed before ride confirmation)
4.2 Refund Policy:
Refund requests must be submitted within 7 working days
Processed through original payment method within 14 days
4.3 Tax Compliance:
Drivers responsible for:
Withholding tax (where applicable)
Filing monthly sales tax returns
5. Safety & Compliance
5.1 Mandatory Safety Features:
Real-time ride tracking
Emergency SOS button connecting to:
Local police (15)
Zebar security team
Pre-selected emergency contacts
5.2 Prohibited Conduct:
Discrimination based on gender, religion, or ethnicity
Cash payments (except in authorized cases)
Transport of illegal goods
6. Dispute Resolution
6.1 All disputes shall be:
First attempted through mediation via Zebar support
If unresolved, submitted to:
District Consumer Courts (for Passengers)
Relevant Transport Authority (for Drivers)
6.2 Governing Law:
These Terms shall be interpreted under Pakistani law
Exclusive jurisdiction lies with courts in Pakistan
7. Modifications
Zebar reserves the right to modify these Terms with 30 days notice via:
Platform notifications
SMS/email to registered users
Website publication
